Andy jr and James Jobe !!!
I can see the writing on the wall that camas needs your help ....I seen that they are under staff and need guys like you two to help . Those guys did such a great job building a place for you and evey one to play . The circle track was dusty ...And will always be to dusty or two slick ...It is the wrong type of dirt to race on , But it can work if you start your track prep the day before with a sheeps foot and get the water deeper into the dirt ....Don has one of those there ....But like i said they were under staff to keep up on it so it needs young guys like the two of you to step up and take over that whole hornet gig .
Those guys had big problems with fist fighting between goobers sat night during the drags ...Here is the problem ....

....

...The drinkers had to much time before the drags to get STUPID .
The night drags are cool but it brings out the dorks .
Start teching rigs at 8am then ...Start your drags at high noon ...It takes 2 hrs to get them over with .
After that move your spectators over to the next event ...By moving them the drinkers will most likly stay with there booz and away from those that are watching the events .
The key is to keep things moving along then get the drinkers to there camp to party and the ones that were there to watch the events on there way home .
You guys have a good thing going on here but this ....

is going to screew it all up if you dont get a handal on it ...NOW
I might sound like a know it all ....But i have been there and dun it ...When i was your age i helped start the clubs that put on all the 4x4 races around this area ....The same things that the Camas guys went thew this weak end , We went thew puting on races at places like... Powers, Looking Glass ,Sutherlin , and towns all the way into Washington where the 4x4 Summer convention is held ...Nothing has changed ....Mud is still made with dirt and water .....Alot of us old guys are still around and will give you advice on how we pulled it off in our day .
You can do it ...
